1. Duties of office, and qualifications required for their performance.
To prepare Plans and Specifications for Public Buildings, and to design any alterations required in existing Works, and estimates all kinds of Public Works. To measure up finished work and to superintend the execution of all kinds of Public Works. It should also be able to draw up Contracts for Works and supply materials.
2. Salary and emoluments, and whether secured by a permanent law.
£500 per annum.
3. Other circumstances affecting the value of the office.
Free quarters, and £30 for chair Coolies - Provided by the Estimates.
